How soon before my wedding should I book?

It is strongly recommended that you book as soon as possible to secure your wedding date. Our brides typically book their wedding date 6 months in advance. However here at Your Day Glam we will be as accommodating as possible.

How much do you charge?

For the quality and caliber of our work, our pricing is very competitive. We understand that planning a wedding can be extremely costly and that budgets do need to be taken into consideration. For that reason we pride our selves on customizing your entire experience. Everything is upon consultation for this reason. In our Contact Us section you can email with your wedding date, number of girls, and any specific needs or requests and we will respond promptly. We also believe that keeping wedding parties together and doing everyone involved in one place is not only more special and fun for the bride but we can also offer discounts for larger groups. Please call or email for specific pricing information.

Do you offer a trial run appointment?

Yes, we strongly recommend that you do a trial run appointment for your hair and/or makeup. The trial will insure that the wedding day runs smoothly and that you will be completely satisfied with your look. We also will be able to help you with some smaller details like accessories and jewelry to ensure a flawless truly unique look with every single bride we do. We recommend that you book your trial run appointment at least 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. We understand there is a lot of preparation for a wedding so whenever it is convenient for you to schedule works for us!

What if I do not like what you do at the preview?

One of the most important parts of the trial is honest communication. Our girls are wonderful and they are capable of doing any style of hair and makeup. The stylist truly wants you to be happy and will encourage you to be honest with her. Also we strongly suggest using our celebrity inspirations page for hairstyle ideas and we encourage you to print them out and bring them along for proper communication. Although we have extreme confidence in our wedding day experience that in the rare case of dissatisfaction we will offer a complete money back guarantee.

How does the stylist know what style is best for me?

That is one of the great things about using a company like ours who specializes in weddings. Part of our stylist’s job is to help you pull your whole look together if needed. There are so many factors that go into determining your hair and makeup such as, your personal style, the style of your wedding, what you are wearing in your hair, what your dress looks like, what is going to look best on you, etc. Your stylist is going to give you options, help you to take different things into consideration so that you can feel completely glamorous and comfortable on your big day.

What kind of make up do you use?

We use all professional makeup and skin care products. All of our artists use products that they have experience with and are top of the line such as Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Benefit, Chanel. But, the majority of all of our makeup is MAC. We have found through years of trial and error with different makeup lines, that MAC's makeup goes on very light and natural looking (when the right products and techniques are used), the colors are beautiful and foundations match skin tones perfectly, it has incredible staying power and is water proof.

What if I never wear makeup?

As you can see by the pictures in our portfolio, we are capable of doing any style hair and makeup. We want to find that perfect happy medium between looking good for your pictures and looking and feeling beautiful for your family and friends. That is going to mean something different for everyone. Our job is to find that perfect look for you.

Do I have to wear a lot of makeup for photos?

This is actually a very common misconception. Yes, if you are doing studio photos under bright studio lighting, then that is the case. But, for natural lighting (which most wedding photography is) and/or flash photography, a lot of makeup is not needed.

How long will it take on the wedding day?

It really depends on how many services you are getting done as to how much time we allot. It is typically a three to four hour time frame maximum for the entire wedding party. Another great reason for going with our company is that we have the timing down to a science. We are going to bring as many stylist and/or assistants as it takes for us to get you done within our allotted time frame. The bride generally takes 45 minutes per service and the girls approximately 30 minutes per service. If you are having a very early morning wedding, we typically like to bring more stylists if possible to cut down on your getting ready time, therefore cutting down on your getting up time.

Will the stylist do more than one style at the trial run?

Your stylist is going to consult with you to determine which style is going to be the best based on all of the factors. We really do try and narrow it down to one particular style. This is part of the stylist’s job. If there is ever a time in which we do two different styles on a preview it is usually when a bride is trying to decide between ½ up ½ down and all up.

Will you come out just for bridesmaids?

Yes! We require a non-refundable deposit to secure the wedding date. Please call or email for specific pricing. The deposit is applied towards your wedding day total. At Your Day Glam we customize your wedding day needs! So whatever and whoever you need done we can do!
